Imperial Palace

The Hofburg in Vienna is one of the largest and most beautiful palace complexes in the world. Construction of the magnificent building began as early as the 13th century. Until 1918, the Hofburg was the residence and government center of the Habsburg emperors. Today, visitors can admire numerous museums in it (including the Albertina), the National Library and, in the Michael Wing of the Hofburg, the Spanish Riding School. Likewise, the Hofburg is the seat of the Austrian Federal President.
Palace of Justice

The Palace of Justice, steeped in history, is over 130 years old. The Palace of Justice is the seat of the Supreme Court, as well as the Vienna Higher Regional Court and the Vienna Regional Court for Civil Matters. The General Procurator's Office and the Vienna Chief Public Prosecutor's Office are also located here. Visitors can enjoy a magnificent view over Vienna in the well-known Justice Café, located on the top floor.
Opera

Everyone who visits the metropolis of Vienna should have seen the Vienna Opera. The grandiose house on the Ring is undoubtedly one of the most important opera houses in the world. The opera house was built in 1869, destroyed during the Second World War, but rebuilt in 1955. PARLIAMENT AND PALAIS EPSTEIN

The Parliament on Vienna's Ringstrasse is one of the most important buildings in the capital city of Vienna. It is assigned to the historicism. The famous architect Theophil Hansen designed it in the style of Greek antiquity. Right next to the Parliament, the visitor will find the Palais Epstein. City Hall

The Vienna City Hall was built from 1872 to 1883. It is by far the most important non-clerical building in Vienna in the neo-Gothic style. The height of the tower is an incredible 97.9 meters. In addition, there is the "Iron Town Hall Man", which adorns the tower of the Vienna Town Hall. The Vienna City Hall is the official residence of the mayor. It also serves as a meeting place for the city senate/state government and the municipal council/state parliament.
Spanish Riding School

The Spanish Riding School is one of the highest cultural assets of the federal capital. The name refers to the racy ancestors of today's Lipizzaners. Throughout the year, thousands and thousands of visitors attend the breathtaking performances in the historic baroque hall in downtown Vienna. You should not miss the demonstrations of the noble horses.
University of Vienna

The University of Vienna is the best known and largest university building in Austria. About 90,000 students and approximately 9,800 employees work at the renowned university. The University of Vienna was founded in 1365. This makes it the oldest university in today's German-speaking world and the third oldest in Central Europe. It currently offers 178 degree programs.
UNO City

The Vienna International Centre was built in 1973-1979 by the Republic of Austria and the City of Vienna. The well-known building serves as an office headquarters for international organizations. It is the headquarters of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) and other international organizations. Austria leases the building to the United Nations at a symbolic rent.
