AUGARTEN VIENNA

BURGGARTEN

The castle garden was once laid out for the emperor and his family. Today it is a popular destination for young and old. Emperor Franz made the Burggarten a natural jewel by adding many new plants. Over time, the Burggarten was redesigned in the style of an English landscape garden. Visitors to the garden can thus admire numerous green areas with lakes and monuments.
DONAUPARK
Wallenberggasse, Am Donaupark, 1220 Vienna
The Danube Park was created in 1964 in the course of the "Vienna International Garden Show" on the site of a former landfill. Today it is a popular recreation area for young and old. In the Donaupark there are playgrounds and sports fields with an area of over 32,000 square meters. The 252-meter Danube Tower in the park, a technical masterpiece and Austria's highest landmark, is striking. It is considered a symbol of modern Vienna. At a height of 150 meters, you have a fantastic 360-degree panoramic view of the city.
KAHLENBERG

The Kahlenberg is one of the most popular destinations around Vienna. Located in the Vienna Woods, the mountain's most impressive feature is its stunning view. Visitors can view not only the entire city from above on a clear day, but even the Schneeberg, where Vienna's high spring water comes from. The beautiful, legendary Kahlenberg is 484 meters high and has a long history.
SPA PARK OBERLAA

The beautiful park is located in the 10th district of Favoriten in Vienna, on the southeastern slope of the Laaer Berg near Oberlaa. The beautiful Schönbrunn Palace in the 13th district was the former summer residence of the Habsburgs. The stately building is known for its imperial state rooms and a magnificent garden surrounding the palace. Maria Theresa, Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth once stayed at Schönbrunn Palace. The palace is one of the most beautiful baroque complexes in Europe.
SETAGAYA PARK VIENNA

Setagaya Park is a beautiful Japanese garden in the 19th district. The park was created through a friendship and cultural agreement between Döbling and the district of Setagaya in Tokyo. The extraordinary park was planned by the Japanese garden designer Ken Nakajima. Visitors will even find a teahouse and a Japanese watercourse in this park.
STADTPARK

The city park offers a large recreation center in the middle of the city. Picturesque meadows, large water areas and ornamental shrubs make relaxation easy. Large avenue trees shield the park from the ring road. The city park contains 3 drinking fountains and some charming ornamental fountains. In addition, you will find the most monuments and sculptures of all Viennese parks in the Stadtpark.

The Türkenschanzpark in Vienna's 18th district fascinates its visitors with its charmingly designed park. The countless ponds and streams, waterfalls and fountains are a worthwhile destination. VOLKSGARTEN

The famous Volksgarten in downtown Vienna was built in 1823 by order of Emperor Franz Joseph. In the center of the garden is the Temple of Theseus, built by Peter von Nobile, with the sculpture of Theseus by Antonio Canova. Corti's coffee house in the garden has always been of great importance. Today it is known as the popular Disco Pavilion in the Volksgarten.
