Café Goldegg in Argentinierstraße is a special insider tip in the 4th district. Held in Art Nouveau style, the Goldegg belongs to the old school of Viennese coffeehouses. In that sense, it's clearly a gem of the scene with its elegant wainscoting, neat pool tables and matching plush green furniture. The parquet floors and impressive chandeliers also contribute to the café's characteristic patina.
Against this background, Café Goldegg has already become a film set on various occasions. But in addition to the traditional flair, the menu has some refreshing novelties to offer. In addition to sausages, goulash and toast, Goldegg also offers Ayurvedic vegetables, sweet potatoes with hummus and delicious burgers.
