Laaerbergbad

The Laaerberg Bad is a municipal summer pool in the 10th district. From downtown Vienna, you can reach it in just a few minutes with the U1. Once there, a varied offer awaits you with a sports pool, wave pool and children's pool. For the little ones there is a parent-child area with a toddler pool.

Yes, there is even a diving tower for the daredevils among the visitors! But there are also sunbathing areas to relax in, and the beach volleyball court is a great place to let off steam. Furthermore, the outdoor pool offers the opportunity to practice table tennis, and for the children there is a fabulous playground.

Laaerberg Bad was built in 1959 on a southern slope of Laaer Berg according to plans by Erich Franz Leischner. The design of the bath was a joint work of various Austrian artists. Therefore, you will find some details that should not go unnoticed. For example, the mushroom-shaped game table in the outdoor pool stands out for its sophisticated wind rose motif. For sports inspiration, there is a statue of a discus thrower and the children's playground is adorned with two turtles made of cast stone. Even the orientation maps in the entrance building are a ceramic work of art!

But with all the art is not missing the culinary tasting. Because the facility includes a buffet, espresso bar, champagne bar and snack bar!
